Greetings! My name is Isis and I couldn’t be more excited about becoming one of CollegeFashionista’s Style Gurus for Fall 2012. A self-proclaimed fashion-holic, fashion is my voice and expression, my thoughts and dreams, my goals and aspirations. Fashion is everything and everything is fashion.
I am currently a Freelance Stylist and Public Relations student attending Ryerson University’s G. Raymond Chang School of Education in Toronto, Ontario. Originally from Edmonton, I am a proud West Coaster – and it shows! I am in love with color, obsessed with prints (leopard anyone!?) and just the mere thought of vintage anything excites me. I’m a sucker for versatility and have never been afraid to step outside of the box or experiment with different looks. On any given day, my style can be described as an eclectic mix of Grace Jones, Marilyn Monroe and/or Audrey Hepburn or as I like to say, a little bit of everything.
Over the next four months, I will be doing what I love and do best, style watching, while also providing STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK. There’s just something I find so intriguing about the power of self expression, especially when it can be done without saying a word. I have been waiting for an opportunity like this for years, but truly believe that nothing happens before it’s time. My time is now. I am extremely excited about this journey and hope that this is just the beginning of a beautiful, long lasting relationship with CollegeFashionista, it’s readers and Fashionista/o’s alike!
