Greetings fellow Fashionistas and Fashionistos! I’m a junior studying Fashion Merchandising at the University of Delaware and this will be my second semester as a Style Guru! I believe personal style is always in fashion because in our world today, it’s individuality that will make you stand out. My personal style can vary according to my mood but I consistently enjoy mixing trendy pieces with vintage or second-hand finds. I also love experimenting with patterns and colors that you wouldn’t expect to mix well together. I pull inspiration from my friends, fashion blogs, magazines and of course, the streets.
A few of my favorite designers include Betsey Johnson, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang. After college, I hope to pursue a career in fashion, journalism or a mesh of the two. My long term goal is to one day open up my own boutique in a trendy little town.
It’s been an awesome and inspiring experience to document the unique styles of Delaware students and I look forward to discovering more amazing looks this upcoming semester. Also, I’m thrilled to report that during the month of January I will be studying abroad in Paris and can’t wait to capture and blog about French street style!
