I have always believed that the body is a canvas and fashion consists of the art we adorn it with, whether it be a nose ring and military boots or lace and a pearl necklace. What we wear is the basis of how we express ourselves.
I am a sophomore here at the University of Iowa studying business. While managing numerous other extra curricular activities, I don't think I could survive without the outlet of fashion. Whenever I'm stressed out or overwhelmed with work, opening the latest issue of Bazaar tends to relax me.
I have never really been able to describe my sense of style. One day I will sport something as simple as an off the shoulder tee, jeans, and riding boots, while other days I pair my sequined leggings with a gray oversized sweater. My fashion can be off the wall wild or sleek and classic. Like many, what I wear for an occasion expresses how I'm feeling.
