As a journalism major at the University of Iowa, I am looking forward to meeting and interviewing diverse individuals and exploring fashion trends. The beauty of fashion is that there is not a strict set of rules to follow. It is an art form that allows us to get creative and help decipher our personal styles. I am drawn towards fashionistas who innovate, and incorporate old or used clothing with newer chic pieces. Because I have a college student budget, I often shop at garage sales and Goodwill to find interesting pieces.
