Greetings fellow fashion lovers! My name is Lindsey, and this officially marks my second cycle as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista! I am so thrilled to be a part of this fabulous collection of Fashionistas and Fashionistos once again, and I can't wait to share my summer finds with all of you. With senior year awaiting my return to school in the fall, I am determined to make the next three months as long and sweet as possible, filled with plenty of outdoor excursions as I explore street style in my native Boston.
As a Fashion Merchandising major and Journalism minor at the University of Delaware, it goes without saying that fashion and writing hold very special places in my heart. Over the course of the past semester, I've found that CollegeFashionista is the perfect marriage between my two greatest passions, and it has become all the more obvious to me just how similar the realms of fashion and journalism truly are. While I have no idea where I'll end up in this unpredictable industry, I dream of working as an editor or creative director at a major fashion publication in the future.
Like any fashion lover, I scour through dozens of blogs and fashion magazines daily, and find inspiration in photography and editorial work. Some of my fashion idols include Michael Kors, Rebecca Taylor, Catherine Malandrino and Rachel Zoe, and I get lost in every season of Project Runway, without fail. After a long and snowy winter of documenting street style during my first semester as a Style Guru, I'm excited to see what the warm weather brings and can't wait to share what I find!
