Style is the never-ending journey of trial and error but most importantly a form of self discovery. In my third season of writing a bio I have learned that summing yourself up is never complete…that’s the best part. I am a proud valley boy native and the honored Style Guru for The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise (FIDM) Los Angeles. Suddenly a great attention has highlighted this via online sensation. CollegeFashionista only knows one way up the stairs and with the site showing off a fabulous new skin, Style Guru’s debuting in different campuses all over the nation, and yet still remains to instill a chic perspective it’s…that direction is up.
I contribute my embracing of modern essentials with a mixture of a preppy aesthetic. Like fashion seasons change, trends come and go like the weather, and something new is about to arise…but what is eternal is style and passion which instilled in all us Gurus. My career focus is to be an editor for Nylon along with other industry aspirations. Although what I am in search of in addition to the site and with my life is the genuine inspiration that surrounds us.
I am a fan of mixing textures, embracing your inner child, savvy steals, the model off duty aesthetic, statement pieces that have stories to tell, Lanvin, Band of Outsiders, Chanel, and 3.1 Phillip Lim…OH MY! With a closer look we notice the details, which is key to creating a foundation and the perfect outfit. It’s all about embracing your individuality because there is no one else like you. Express yourself because everyday is a reason to look your best and be fantastic and hopefully I’ll be there to capture those wonderful moments.
