Hey fellow Fashionistas! My name is Samantha Sablich and I am very much looking forward to being your Style Guru for the next semester for the Fashion Institute of Technology! To me, personal style does not only represent your individuality but also expresses the message you want to send to others around you. I love to mix vintage pieces with modern designs and pair a few high-quality items with some more affordable pieces. I would say I have an all-around pretty laid back style. For me, fashion isn’t about how much money you spend on a garment but how you pair different pieces together to make a look of your own! I am most influenced by nature and love being inspired by street style from all around the world.
I have spent the last two years of college studying Apparel Design in Milwaukee but will be continuing at FIT studying Textile Design! A bright pop of color or a fun, dramatic print is the perfect addition to an otherwise boring color scheme in any outfit. That is why I am looking forward to designing prints of my own! I am so excited to be living in New York City and scoping out all of the unique trends that my fellow classmates will be bringing to campus!
