My name is Yassamine Ebadat and I’m a senior at The George Washington University majoring in English. This is my first semester as an official Style Guru, but with many years and countless fashion magazines under my belt, I’m fully ready to report for duty!
My style is always changing, but could generally be described as girly with bohemian and edgy accents. I’m absolutely obsessed with lace, chiffon and sleek silk, and love matching patterns and colors that my mom always taught me not to (black and brown, anyone?). To me, fall fashion is daring, in your face and perfectly flawless. I am looking forward to the return of heavy layering and riding boots, and I am already lusting over the upcoming jewel tone, polka dot and faux fur invasions awaiting us in the cooler months.
Though many of my hours are devoted to classic literature and Victorian poetry, I still manage to sneak in my fair share of style-watching and can’t wait to share my insights from the heart of our nation’s capitol! The fall ushers in fearless fashion, so I can’t wait to see what George Washington has in store!
