It’s common knowledge that April showers bring May flowers, which means always being prepared for a little bit of precipitation. Especially in Pittsburgh, the weather can change in an instant – sunny one minute, raining and hailing the next. It’s necessary to be prepared for all types of weather that spring can throw at us – and this Fashionista shows us that being prepared doesn’t have to mean sacrificing style.
I found this Fashionista on a cloudy afternoon sporting a not-so-classic trench coat. This peach colored jacket is embellished with all sorts of wonderful details. The black lining on the edges, pockets, and sleeves, along with the oversized black buttons, add dimension to the jacket. The pleated shoulders and belted waist give the jacket a feminine touch to the jacket as well.
The Fashionista has gone bold – and paired this peach number with white flare cargo pants. White cargos are definitely a go for the spring season, and rumor has it that the flare might be being out the skinny very soon.
The shoes are black leather on the upper portion with an espadrille wedge – a perfect way to keep those feet up above the puddles. With a simple Coach wristlet, this Fashionista is ready to tackle any weather that may come at her while she shops along Forbes Avenue.
