If there was to be an eighth wonder of the modern world I think it should be Photoshop. Between magnetic lassos, magical mixer brushes, and the magnificent clone tool, PS5 is basically the best. This Fashionista is not only a junior in the Fashion Design major, but she is also a superb graphic designer and admitted Photoshop addict.
So it is only fitting that I describe her sartorial flair in Adobe filter terminology. Let’s begin with her open-knit Bebe crochet sweater, reminiscent of Rodarte’s 2008 knits but tidied-up, processed through a mosaic filter. Layered under her Marciano by Guess bandage dress are a pair of Gucci tights looking straight off the cut-out filter setting. Lastly, her Halston Heritage bag is studded with spherized domes and pixelated in lens flare sequins. Her little D&G pendant swings like a lasso tool from the screen while her Dolce Vita boots are equal parts serious and glamorous.
The overall impression is a bold use of the texturizer feature from head to toe. Fashion meets technology and the result is raw beauty, high dpi.
