One of the best ways to be fashion forward around campus is to wear your school’s colors in a unique and fresh way. Sun Devils, we have come a long way as a university and our school’s traditions and colors should exemplify that. Maroon and gold should be a part of your daily wardrobe. With the latest ASU T-shirt designs that aren’t as basic as “This is my Sun Devil Shirt” and Victoria Secret’s Pink college line now being sold at all four campus (West, Downtown Phoenix, Tempe, and Polytechnic campus) bookstores, it’s time to take maroon and gold to the next level.
This week’s Fashionista is being extra bold in her maroon and gold. She’s wearing a maroon polo with her college’s logo. Her accessories are nice touches of maroon and gold; a nine-band headband from New York & Company and small flower studded earrings from Forever 21. This outfit is a good example that if you’re having trouble finding something out of the ordinary that’s not your basic ASU tee, you can choose pieces or accessories that are of maroon and gold color and be even more of a Sun Devil Fashionista.
If your closet is itching for more maroon and gold (because as a Sun Devil we can never have enough), check out Chicka-d Clothing. They offer a fresh variety of ways to show your ASU pride. When you wear one of their unique styles to the next football game, I guarantee your fellow classmates will be urging to know where you purchased it.
Remember Sun Devils, be stylish in gold on Fridays and on game days!
Hint: For this year’s Homecoming festivities, which will take place Friday, October 29 and Saturday October 30, try going out with maroon and gold. Accessorize with maroon and gold by painting your nails maroon or gold and be school-spirited all week long, or try a gold-studded headband or maroon ribbon in your hair. Take your gold T-shirt to the next level by adding maroon dots or stripes with a marker felt pen.
