TREND: Getting Your Groove On In Style

Most girls' night out plans in college consist of a trendy dinner where everyone gets to show off their ensemble of choice, possibly a few cocktails, and then obviously ending the night by showing off your moves on the dance floor. Attending school in a big city definitely has its perks, one being that you have a lot of different choices when it comes to picking a hip, new restaurant. There is always somewhere fresh and fun to try in Minneapolis. Besides a night out with friends and good food, one of the best parts of going out is picking out what you are going to wear for the evening. Although fun, it is always tough to think of something great to wear out to dinner that will also work well for a night of dancing.

This Fashionista was thinking ahead by wearing a fun, flirty romper. It is the “it” item of the season and is great for a stylish dinner. Her romper had great colors that really showed off her sun-kissed skin. Rompers are easy to dress up by just throwing on a blazer and a cute pair of heels, but at the same time easy to dress down and perfect for dancing. You can remove the coat, throw on some flip flops and be completely care free! Rompers are much easier to dance in than a dress, and they are lightweight so you won't get too sweaty while out on the dance floor.

An added bonus to owning a rocking romper is that it will transition great into the fall. Rompers are adorable with a big baggy sweater or blazer. It will keep you warm during the chilly fall weather and looking fabulous. Some rompers also look good with scarves, try pairing it with a scarf filled with darker, cooler colors to keep up with the season! If your not a scarf person throw on a chunky necklace or some bangles. It is always better to have some accessories to spice up your outfit. This Fashionista had some rocking accessories to compliment her romper. I adored her watch — totally in right now but definitely something she can wear for many years to come. She also had a cute slouchy purse that coordinated with one of the colors in her romper. Her aviators were a cute boyfriend touch to her girly ensemble. So whether you and your girlfriends are down for some salsa dancing, rocking out at a concert, or showing off your newest dance moves at a hip club, rompers are always a great choice that will never cease to fail you!
