TREND: Mix Your Neutrals

This past Fashion Week neutrals were all over the runways. But neutrals aren’t news, so what is news? Mixing and matching your neutrals. I used to keep my neutrals completely separate–I would never pair a black skirt with a brown shoe, a navy bag with my new black pants, but I’ve decided there is no better time than now to try. This Fashionista combines gray, black, and grayish-purple for a simplistically classic look. For those of you still finishing up winter, black and gray are great winter colors, but for those students lucky enough to live in a warm climate, mix navy and khaki and white and chocolate brown. Combine it all. Sometimes combining lots of simple pieces can create one spectacular look.

With Spring Break around the corner for many students, pack a pair of boyfriend style, slouchy khakis, with a brown gladiator sandal and a navy bag. I’m sure you won’t go wrong!

Style On,
