Everybody's been buzzing this spring. There's constant buzz about the warmer weather, new spring trends and the come back of old trends. Whatever the case, the time has come to freshen up your wardrobe. My personal suggestions to do so is to wear brighter colors, emulate the latest looks, recycle past styles and donate for a just cause.
An awesome way to donate while also looking fashionable is by wearing TOMS shoes. They're light on your feet so they look great in the spring and best of all, with every pair of shoes you purchase they give a pair of shoes to a child in need. This fulfills TOMS's mission statement, "One for One". They have a variety of different styles, whether it's the Red Stone Washed Classics, the Grey Chambray Cordones, or the Olive Botas.
This Fashionista is a terrific example of how you can be trendy and philanthropic at the same time. She pairs her TOMS with a light washed denim jacket – an old trend that can look very chic if worn right. This Vintage Lee Jean Jacket from Free People is perfect example of how great an old vintage jean jacket can look this spring. This jacket paired with a colorful scarf like this Fashionista did is a perfect look for this spring. Although this Fashionista opts to wear the classic black leggings like these from American Apparel, a more flashy pair like these Wet Look Panel Leggings from ASOS could upgrade your entire ensemble.
With all that's going on in the world, wearing fashion for a charitable cause is noteworthy. So look for other ways you can upgrade your closet while donating to other humanitarian causes. Then perhaps, you can walk down your campus runway with a lighter bounce in your step and a bigger smile on your face.
