If you're afraid to wear plaid because you think you'll look too much like a schoolgirl or a lumberjack, take a cue from this week's Fashionisto and just go for it! If you have yet to accept the fact, now is the time: the lovely plaid trend is back!
Like most other patterns, plaid can spice up any outfit, as long as you don't wear too much of it. The idea behind this look is to choose one key checkered piece, and to keep the rest relatively neutral in order to accent the plaid. Here, he opted for a red and green plaid jacket as the eye-drawing focal point to his attire.
Underneath the jacket he went for a crisp white collared oxford shirt and paired these two items with a classic pair of dark denim skinny jeans. Finally, he finishes off the look with a military-esque pair of leather lace-up boots. By wearing them in red, he is able to pick up the hints of the same color that are on his jacket. Brilliant!
Hint: Another way to master the plaid look is to mix and match with several different patterns and colors. Plaid comes in all shapes and sizes: pair contrasting colors and varying patterns to make your look daring and trendy. Also try wearing plaid (namely shirts and dresses) by cinching with a belt, especially if the reason you're hesitant to pick up the checkers is for fear of looking frumpy! My last tip is, as always, to focus on the little details—part of what makes this Fashionisto's look so compelling is the way he rolled his pants just a hairline above his boots and how he wore his shirt buttoned all the way up.
You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
One thing I’ve noticed is there are plenty of misconceptions regarding the finance institutions intentions when talking about foreclosed. One fable in particular is that often the bank wants your house. The bank wants your hard earned dollars, not your property. They want the cash they gave you with interest. Averting the bank will still only draw the foreclosed realization. Thanks for your write-up.
I truly love your blog.. Very nice colors & theme. Did you create this website yourself? Please reply back as I’m attempting to create my own website and want to learn where you got this from or exactly what the theme is called. Thanks!
