TREND: Red White and Bloom

Whether you're heading back home for the 4th or staying in the IC for fireworks in the Pentacrest you will probably find your self surrounded in a sea of red, white, and blue. Though most of those U.S.A inspired outfits, though patriotic, may seem a little hokey for your taste you can still done the colors of the flag without looking foolish. This Fashionista shows how to spice up your patriotic style with a little flower power. Her bright, floral, bubble skirt shows off the red, white, and blue (with a hint of yellow) in a fun and flirty way. In addition, the extremely flattering high waist line of her skirt will have any lady's figure singing the Star Spangled Banner. The busy pattern of this skirt is smartly paired with a navy blue top with ruched detail on her shoulders. These types of tops with tiny details can be dressed up, like this Fashionista, or dressed down with a pair of jeans. She finishes off her all-american ensemble with silver shoes and earrings. The use of silver in her outfit adds a metalic touch and doesn't overpower the rest of her outfit. Also, the leaf detail in her earrings adds another element to the floral side of U.S.A themed attire. Showing your American colors with this type of outfit will have others seeing fireworks in no time.

Hint: To take this outfit up a notch try it with these wedges and this beaded top tucked in.
