Most popularly known as the boyfriend look, which includes the default oversized button-down and stonewashed jeans, the look has expanded this season with new items inspired by menswear, increasing the possibilities of outfits for Fashionistas everywhere.
A look that’s been seen in the past- how could you forget Katie Holmes – one of the most noted celebrities for rocking the trend – dressed in what it looked like lover Tom Cruise’s jeans. Soon we all wanted a pair of oversized capris to wear with a loose-fitted button-up or sweater. The boyfriend jacket is another Fashionista favorite, worn most notoriously by socialite Kim Kardashian. My eyes were instantly drawn to her well-crafted chamois colored vest and her pair of perfect medium-washed jeans. Her look is relaxed and comfortable while still maintaining a classy appeal.
