TREND: Versatile Vintage

As a Fashionista on a college budget, it's always a challenge to find affordable, trendy clothes. Despite the struggle, there are ways to remain on a tight budget and follow the latest in fashion. Thrift stores are an excellent way to find interesting, unique vintage items that can spice up any wardrobe and the best part is that vintage is a huge trend for the fall.

It's true that the classics never go out of style, and this is demonstrated by the recent obsession with vintage clothing. This Fashionista is all over this timeless fashion trend- sporting a patterned, vintage tunic paired with a neutral, patterned vintage shirt. Both vintage pieces work well together, because one acts as a neutral. She also accessorizes with black tights, and some trendy brown booties (which you can pick up at Urban Outfitters). Her turtle shell vintage sunglasses and gold jewelry stand out against the neutral vibe her outfit gives off. Also, this Fashionista rocks a vintage satchel, which she picked up from her local thrift store.

The best part about vintage clothing is that each piece is really unique. There isn't a better way to add some personal flair to an outfit than to track down classic, distinct items to add to your collection. Take cues from this Fashionista and find vintage items that you can mix with your existing wardrobe. Tunics, sundresses, and denim are always on trend, and can be easily ads excitement to your style, and it doesn't hurt your wallet either!
