Hello beautiful sun, we’ve missed you! Goodbye pants and hello rompers! We’ve seen these beautiful onesies practically everywhere over the past two years. They’re comfortable, adorable and come in so many colors and patterns, or even with ruffles or lace. If pants are the staple for winter then rompers are definitely a must have for spring and summer.
From Coachella to a day at the beach, the versatility of this piece can take you just about anywhere. Each designer has done a fabulous job of giving us such a wide range to pick from, like Diane Von Furstenburg with her vibrant prints and Marc by Marc Jacobs with his beautiful open-back halter in puce. With so many options, you are bound to find a romper that is fitted for you and that represents your personal style.
This week's Fashionista was spotted wearing a vibrant pink romper with lace detail from Forever 21. The romper is then paired with an Old Navy jean vest and a pair of gap flower sandals. The blue in the jacket brings out the pink in the romper giving it a perfect spring look with that touch of flower on the sandals. Florals are really in when it comes to sandals, so you can’t go wrong with this choice.
Hint: To get this look you can go for a simple solid color ruffle romper from Express, or go a little on your wild side and get a print romper at Arden B. If you’re in the mood to splurge Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent has a great collection of rompers. For the cropped denim vest, you can get the look from Levi’s or Siwy Denim. Finish of this look with a beautiful pair of Pour la Victoire floral sandals.
Check out style advice of the week from another ASU student Hilary Pendelton in Roam in Rompers. Looks like rompers have taken over ASU. Welcome to romper world!
