UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN: NOiR Fashion Show Recap

Last Sunday, NOiR Fashion Organization held its 11th Annual Charity Fashion Show. With over 500 guests in attendance and 50 student models, NOiR showcased its theme of "Cosmopolitan: Belonging to All the World" through scenes inspired by New York, Moscow, Bombay, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Cape Verde, Los Angeles, Milan and Tokyo. The show featured local boutiques in Ann Arbor such as Poshh, Bivouc, Urban Outfitters, Orchid Lane and the Get Up. As well, the show featured many independent designers such as Henry Goldenhanger, Krooked Kulture, Dorothy Elizabeth, Brittany Lockart and Jamie Powell. All of the proceeds were donated to Alpha Interfaith Homeless Shelter, in order to combat homelessness in Washtenaw County. The show was a great success!
