Let’s get involved in the upcoming fashion events on campus. It's great to see fashion being used to help and support our community. Strut for Smiles is a fashion event coming to campus on February 28. The event is being produced by two freshmen here on Indiana University’s campus, Amy Chen and Samantha Loeffler. It is a charity fashion show to raise money for Operation Smile. All proceeds and money raised will be benefiting children of Operation Smile all around the globe who suffer from facial deformities such as cleft lip or palate. Just $240 can cover the cost of one surgery, so the goal is to raise $5,000 through this event.

Tickets are on sale now! Just $10 will get you in the door, but if you would like to donate more visit their site below. If you cannot make it to the fashion show you can still make a donation online. The event will take place in Indiana Memorial Union: Alumni Hall from 7-9pm. Be sure to come and check out the fashions. This year's show is themed, The Corners of New York: From Brooklyn to the Hamptons. Styles will be donated from local boutiques, for the ladies: Cactus Flower, ChaCha, and Pitaya and for the men: Andrew Davis menswear, Macy's and Southern Tide to name a few.  This is our time as Fashionistas and Fashionistos to give back and support our fellow classmates with their cause!
