WEEKEND FORECAST: Thanksgiving Festivities

Thanksgiving is the first official break from college and it's a time when many GW students go home and spend time with their families and hometown friends for the first time since August. While many celebrate their reunion solely during their standard turkey dinner, many families and friends spend their time together participating in other Thanksgiving-themed activities, including going on outdoor hayrides and pumpkin picking trips.

This Fashionista is so chic and something about her look made me want to go pumpkin picking or sit on the back of a haytruck with a cup of hot cider. On top of her cute flannel shirt, simple skinny jeans, Ray Ban sunglasses and motorcycle boots, she has expertly added a faux fur vest. Faux fur vests are an autumn staple and this vest will keep her nice and warm while she's roaming through fields of pumpkins or sitting on the back of a haytruck. With her outfit this Fashionista has opted to use a large cross-body bag, which can easily carry all of her things while also staying out of her way as she participates in the many outdoor Thanksgiving-themed festivities this season.

Hint: To opt for an outfit similar to this Fashionista's. I recommend wearing leggings or skinnies with your favorite faux fur vest over your warmest flannel shirt. To complete this look, add a pair of motorcycle boots for a fashion-forward look that's appropriate for all of the Thanksgiving activities you'll be participating in this weekend!
