If you were to search “what to wear to a concert” the results would be endless. There is no universal outfit to wear to concerts because they vary in location, size, stature and the obvious, music. My one piece of advice is to dress comfortably. However, being comfortable doesn’t mean plain. No one said that you couldn’t dance the night away and sing at the top of your lungs while being ultra chic.
What caught my eye about this Fashionista was that her look was chock full of contradictions. She incorporated feminine chiffon with edgy leather, contrasted colors like cream and black and covered up in leggings while showing some skin via a sleeveless blouse. Now, I am not complaining in the slightest bit. This attire is to die for and she is totally working it.
It’s almost too hard to decide where to begin when it comes to describing the components of this killer ensemble. Let’s start with the always in-vogue chiffon blouse. A sleeveless blouse, in my opinion, never goes out of style. Add in ombré elements and the classic blouse becomes an on point summer trend. The fade-in to a greyish blue allows this top to work great with a black bottom, as seen on this Fashionista, and also with a basic pair of jeans. Besides, who doesn’t love a two for one top?
I could probably write 500 words alone on how in love with these leggings I am. They have the ease of cotton leggings mixed with the sassiness of front leather panels. Did I mention how they match the leather collar of her blouse? Just another detail that makes this get-up truly stunning. Alright, back to the leggings. They could easily be dressed up or down, and are easy to wear any time of the year. For anyone who claims to be fashion forward, these leggings are a must.
With such a bold outfit, this Fashionista accessorized impeccably. Not too overstated, but certainly not too minimalistic either. The gold hardware of her Michael Kors cross-body clashes with her silver jewelry; again, adding to the theme of contradiction. Simple cream colored sandals complete this look by providing support and style all in one. Whatever the concert, one thing is for sure, this Fashionista will be stylishly rocking out all night long.
One Simple Change: Swap the leggings for a pair of jeans for a day of shopping with the girls. To keep the downtown feel to the look, make sure the jeans are destroyed light wash, and you are ready for some serious retail therapy!
